Colonists

Colonists are a resource in They Are Billions.

Description

Colonists are the basis of your colony. The total number of colonists determines access to high-end buildings and mayors (eg. you can't build the market until your total population reaches 200 colonists). They are distinct from workers and usually your population total will far outstrip the amount of soldiers or workers you carry.

Strategy

Building up your population should be done carefully, as the consumption rate of food increases. In general, you will want to reach the first milestone to unlock mayors, and then slowly expand to avoid crashing the economy.
